| Specifications︰ | A. Comminution section work for comminuting the date palm fruits in the grinding mill. Date palm ( Phoenix dactylifera L. ) is considered the most important fruit crop in the North African and Arabian Peninsula. The statistics reflect the importance of date palm tree to the people who have lived with this tree for centuries. As a raw material, there are calories 142, moisture 31.9-78.5 g, protein 0.9-2.6g, fat 0.6-1.5g, carbohydrates 36.6g, fiber 2.6-4.5g, and ash 0.5-2.8g per 100g of edible fresh date palm fruit. It is valuable for ethanol fermentation as a raw material.
B. Liquification section work for liquidizing the communicated date pulm fruits through heating in the mixing tanks and the cooking Kettles.
C. Saccharification section work for saccharifying liquidized materials with addition of saccharifying enzyme in the saccharifying tanks.
D. Fermentation section work for alcohol fermentation with addition of yeast. Fermentation is the process by which all drinking alcohols are produced. Yeast, added as a pure culture, produces alcohol and carbon dioxide by fermenting the sugars in date fruit juice or other raw material. Maximum alcohol content of a fermented beverage is 14-15% by volume, higher alcohol contents are produced by a further process of distillation.
E. Distillation section work for alcohol distillation in the distiller. Alcohol boils at 78.3° C (173° F) and water at 100° C (212° F). When a mixture of alcohol and water is heated, the alcohol boils at a lower temperature. The resultant stream is caught and cooled. By repeating this process, nearly pure ethanol can be obtained
